The Brief

The brief

Besins Healthcare needed Cartagena to feel generous, warm, and rewarding from the first minute, but still controlled enough for a serious international client. The welcome could not feel like an off-the-shelf Caribbean add-on. It had to be polished, photogenic, and culturally alive without losing the discipline required for a healthcare audience.

The Creative Concept

The idea

Muisca designed the program around the idea that the welcome itself should do the heavy lifting. Instead of waiting for the gala or the final dinner to create the emotional peak, the experience started at arrival with a layered hospitality sequence: private check-in, coconut stations, local hosts, and visual cues that immediately told guests they were in Cartagena rather than in a generic resort corridor. From there, the program moved into lighter celebratory chapters without losing editorial restraint.

The experience

The programme

An incentive whose emotional peak came at the door. A private check-in with personal hospitality, palenquera hosts and coconut stations that said Cartagena before a word was spoken, then a lighter social rhythm around the pool and in the city, with local performers, service and detail aligned so that the destination kept speaking from the welcome to the last evening.

The Results

The proof

The Besins Healthcare incentive showed how Muisca can make a Caribbean reward program feel emotionally rich from the very first touchpoint while still keeping the tone premium and controlled. It is a strong proof piece for buyers who want Cartagena warmth without sacrificing polish.

The numbers behind the programme

  • One Cartagena incentive route anchored by a designed arrival experience
  • Private check-in sequence supported by personalized hospitality touchpoints
  • Palenquera cultural hosts and coconut-service stations integrated into guest flow
  • Poolside social programming balanced celebration with editorial restraint
  • Guest-facing experience designed to feel coherent from first arrival through closing chapters

The community layer

The most memorable welcome elements were powered by Cartagena-based cultural protagonists and hospitality teams, including palenquera cultural hosts and locally rooted service formats that made the city visible in the program without reducing it to a theme.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about this programme

Muisca treated arrival as the first designed chapter of the incentive, using private check-in, personalized hospitality, and culturally specific hosts so guests felt rewarded immediately.

Cartagena could deliver warmth, visual identity, and relaxed hospitality at the right emotional tempo for a reward-driven program, while still supporting premium operational control.

The goal is to let local protagonists host the moment naturally. In this program, palenquera cultural hosts and Cartagena hospitality formats were integrated as part of the guest experience instead of being bolted on for optics.

Yes. The answer is not to make the program quieter. It is to make it more disciplined, so warmth, reward, and local color all feel intentional and well held.
