The Brief
The brief
Accelerate is the programme with which Lenovo recognises the channel that sells it, and its purpose is commercial: reward the partners who carry the region’s growth, and align them on the strategy and portfolio of the year ahead. The 2026 edition was the second run by Lenovo Latin America on its own, apart from the global programme, after a first in Rio de Janeiro. That independence set the brief. The destination had to be aspirational enough to be part of the prize, reachable from every market on the continent, and able to hold, in the same four days, an invite-only summit for more than 200 partners with the company’s senior leadership on stage, and a recognition that could not be repeated anywhere else.
The Creative Concept
The idea
Business by day, heritage by night, and the Caribbean at dawn. Muisca built the four days on two axes that never separated: the summit at the hotel, with keynotes, strategy sessions, one-to-one meetings and a solutions showcase; and, around it, a different layer of Cartagena each evening, a house of original Botero bronzes, a colonial house on the site of the city’s first cathedral, the historic bay by catamaran, and a 19th-century bullring for the awards. Two dawns of wellness kept the group rested between them. And from the first object in a guest’s hands, Colombian craft did the talking.
The experience
The programme
Four days in Cartagena for a channel from 19 countries, business by day and heritage by night. An invite-only summit with Lenovo’s leadership on stage; a welcome kit of hand-woven coasters and Colombia’s most awarded coffee; a private evening among original Botero bronzes; dinner in a colonial house on the site of the city’s first cathedral; the historic bay by private catamaran; dawn runs and yoga over the Caribbean; and a gala in a restored 19th-century bullring that ended with the Carnival of Barranquilla on stage.
The Results
The proof
Accelerate 2026 gave Lenovo Latin America what its independence from the global programme demanded: a regional platform with an identity of its own, in a destination the channel wanted in its passport, where two days of business content sat inside four nights no other city could stage. For Muisca it is the proof that a partner summit and an incentive can be one programme, in three languages, for more than 220 guests from 19 countries, with every departure on time.
The numbers behind the programme
- 220+ channel partners and Lenovo leaders from 19 countries, hosted in three languages
- Four days and three nights across two hotels, 800+ room nights
- 53 flights met in four days: 28 arrivals, then 25 departures to 15+ cities in 12 countries, every one on time
- 30+ vehicles, two private catamarans and seven chivas on the move
- Seven experiences in four heritage settings, and two dawn wellness sessions of fifty guests each
- 1,125+ hand-woven pieces bought directly from 70+ families in Guacamayas, Boyacá
- 30+ Carnival artists on stage, in costumes and masks made by hand
- Nearly nine of every ten dollars of the production stayed with 79 Cartagena suppliers
- Carbon footprint measured across air, road and sea; no single-use plastic anywhere in the programme
The community layer
Nearly nine of every ten dollars spent producing the programme stayed in Cartagena, across 79 suppliers, 29 of them individual artists, guides and makers paid directly. The welcome kit alone put more than 1,125 hand-woven pieces into the hands of 70 families in Guacamayas, most of them led by women, and Colombia’s most awarded coffee in front of 220 buyers from 19 countries. The Carnival cast were young artists from the city’s most vulnerable neighbourhoods, for many of whom dance is the family’s income, in costumes sewn by hand and masks made by the family that builds them for the Carnival itself. The programme’s carbon footprint was measured across flights, road and sea, and not a single-use plastic item was used: water in glass, a plastic-free kit, china on every table and cardboard straws in the coconuts.

Questions about this programme
They have to be, when the audience is a sales channel. For Lenovo the business content took the days and the destination took the nights, with dawn wellness holding the two together, so the reward and the strategy reached the same people in the same four days.
From the airport to the last transfer: hosts, signage and hospitality in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and a programme whose experiences, the Botero house, the bay, the Carnival, need no translation.
Because it is aspirational and reachable at once: a UNESCO-listed walled city with direct flights from the main markets of the Americas, hotels that can hold 200 or more, and venues no other city in the region has. This programme met 53 flights in four days from a single airport minutes from the hotels.
This one was confirmed after an inspection visit two weeks before, with the full route, the gala tasting and the gifts reviewed on site in a single day, which is only possible with a team that already knows the city. Four to six months is the comfortable window for a channel programme of this size.
